Idukki Gold is the story of 5 friends and an important person in
their life. The film marks the return of Shankar,[3] who enjoyed
superstardom in 80′s; Raveendran, who was an integral part of many
successful Tamil and Malayalam films of 80′s; Babu Antony, who was a
minimum guarantee star of low-budget films of 90′s and Maniyanpilla
Raju, who played hero roles in a few movies. All these actors are
playing central roles in this film.
